Jose Mourinho includes young midfield starlet Lassana Diarra in the 16 to face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.

Diarra, being groomed as a replacement for Claude Makelele when the veteran Frenchman retires, was outstanding in the 2-1 FA Cup third-round win over Huddersfield last Saturday.
