Agger deal completed
Liverpool have completed the signing of Brondby centre-back Daniel Agger on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
The 21-year-old Denmark defender will train with his new team-mates at Melwood today after finalising terms having passed his medical yesterday.
Agger, who is believed to have cost Liverpool about £5.8m (€8.4m), becomes manager Rafael Benitez’s second major capture in the transfer window, following Dutchman Jan Kromkamp into Anfield after his move from Villarreal in a swap deal for Josemi.
