New injury blows for Jewell

Wigan boss Paul Jewell will step up his search for new faces after suffering two more major injury blows during last night’s Carling Cup win over Arsenal.

The Latics are already without Henri Camara, who has departed for African Nations Cup duty with Senegal, and defender Ryan Taylor could miss the rest of the season after breaking his foot in the FA Cup tie with Leeds.
