Preston move for Pearson

Preston manager Billy Davies has confirmed his interest in Celtic midfielder Stephen Pearson – and wants to sign the 23-year-old sooner rather than later.

The Hoops player has struggled to make an impact at Parkhead since signing from Motherwell two years ago.
