West Ham manager Alan Pardew is searching for solutions to a host of selection problems ahead of the visit of Wigan.

Yesterday’s 1-1 draw at Portsmouth added more names to an already lengthy injury list when Hayden Mullins, Tomas Repka and Danny Gabbidon were all forced off in the first half.

Mullins suffered concussion on top of the illness he was already struggling with, Repka is out with a hamstring problem and Gabbidon is back on the sidelines after a knee gash requiring nine stitches was re-opened painfully.

Matthew Etherington and Paul Konchesky are expected to be available despite taking knocks at Fratton Park but Yossi Benayoun (groin) and Teddy Sheringham (calf) are still out.

Provisional squad: Carroll, Dailly, Ferdinand, Collins, Konchesky, Newton, Reo-Coker, Fletcher, Noble, Etherington, Harewood, Zamora, Bellion, Aliadiere, Mullins, Hislop, Clarke, Stokes.
