Dailly steps in for Hammers

Christian Dailly is set to replace Danny Gabbidon at the heart of West Ham’s defence for tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash with Everton.

Gabbidon was carried off in Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at Blackburn and required six stitches in a nasty gash to the knee after he collided with advertising boards.

Teddy Sheringham is doubtful for the trip to Goodison Park with a calf problem which has forced him to miss the last two games.
