Rangers stick with McLeish
Rangers manager Alex McLeish is to stay on at the Ibrox club.
There had been a question mark over the future of the former Scotland international after a poor start to the Bank of Scotland Premier League season.
The Light Blues are currently 17 points behind SPL leaders Celtic and have not won for 10 games – the worst sequence in the club’s history.
But McLeish became the first manager to guide a Scottish club beyond the group stages of the Champions League on Tuesday.
Rangers earned a 1-1 draw with Inter Milan at Ibrox while a goalless game between Artmedia Bratislava and Porto ensured progress into the knockout stages in February.
