Beckham suspended

England captain David Beckham has received a one-match suspension from the Spanish FA following his sending off for Real Madrid last weekend.

The 30-year-old midfielder was dismissed early in the second half of Real’s 1-0 win over Getafe at the Bernabeu on Saturday for a rash challenge on striker Riki and was then involved in an angry exchange with opposition coach Bernd Schuster on the sidelines.
