Injury headache frustrating Owen

Newcastle striker Michael Owen has admitted his frustration at the niggling injury problems which have interrupted the start of his career on Tyneside.

The 25-year-old will sit out tonight’s Carling Cup fourth round trip to Wigan with the groin muscle tear which kept him out of the Barclays Premiership trips to Chelsea and Everton, both games in which his side failed to score.
