Shamrock Rovers manager Roddy Collins has reportedly been suspended for a further five days by the club pending a review of a recently completed internal investigation.

The controversial Dubliner was originally suspended for a week last Wednesday while the inquiry was taking place.

The club has refused to disclose any information about the matters under investigation.

Alan O’Neill is now expected to remain in charge for the second leg of the eircom League play-off against Dublin City tomorrow night.
