Derry on course for win at the break

Two goals in five minutes have given Derry City the lead against St PAtrick's Athletic at the break in their eircom League game at the Brandywell.

Captain Peter Hutton broke the deadlock for Derry on the half hour before Clive Delaney headed Derry two goals ahead five minutes later.

If Derry win, they will go a point above Cork City at the top of the eircom League Premier Division.

The Foylesiders face Cork next Friday in the final game of the season.
