Baros working on City date

Aston Villa striker Milan Baros is stepping up his bid to return to action in Monday’s Barclays Premiership encounter with Manchester City at Eastlands.

Baros, a £6m (€8.8m) summer signing from Liverpool, has been dogged by an Achilles problem since Villa’s 8-3 route of Wycombe in the Carling Cup last month.
