City keen to keep Reyna

Manchester City have held preliminary discussions with Claudio Reyna over a new contract.

The 31-year-old USA skipper is currently sidelined after picking up ankle and knee injuries during Saturday’s defeat at Arsenal but has become one of the most influential players in Stuart Pearce’s side over the last few months.
