Stuart Pearce has warned Robbie Fowler he will have to be patient if the veteran striker wants his first-team place back at Manchester City.

The former England forward made his long-awaited return from a major back injury last night, scoring twice in the Blues reserves’ 9-0 hammering of Bury.
