Keane sees potential in Smith

Roy Keane believes Alan Smith has “a good chance” of taking over his role at the hub of the Manchester United midfield.

The United skipper has kept a close eye on Smith’s performances in matches and in training and though he believes the 24-year-old has a lot to learn, the Irishman can see plenty of potential.
