Hull deny Reds approach for winger

Hull boss Peter Taylor has denied receiving an approach from European champions Liverpool to sign Tigers starlet Paul Anderson.

Taylor allowed the 17-year-old winger to train with the Barclays Premiership giants, prompting speculation today Rafael Benitez was poised to pounce for a player who has yet to make his professional debut.

But Taylor said: “I do not know about any move to Liverpool.”
