Anthony Gardner is out for two months after being carried of on a stretcher with a hamstring injury during the first half of Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Aston Villa at Villa Park.

Coach Martin Jol will also pair Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane together in attack as Egypt striker Mido is suspended and new signing Grzegorz Rasiak cup-tied.

Edgar Davids is also out of the game with a groin problem and centre-back Michael Dawson is set for another two weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Spurs have drafted in Stephen Kelly, Sean Davis, Tom Huddlestone and Goran Bunjevcevic to the squad. Noe Pamarot remains sidelined with knee ligament damage.
