Bergkamp back in the driving seat

Arsene Wenger revealed he may ask Dennis Bergkamp to travel to Amsterdam for Arsenal’s next Champions League match after the Dutchman came off the bench to fire an injury-time winner against Thun at Highbury last night, where Robin van Persie had been sent off.

The young forward was shown a straight red card for jumping into a challenge with Alen Orman at the end of the first half, leading with his foot high and studs showing, and is now set to serve a three-game European ban.
