Ifil fills in for Lions

Millwall have signed Tottenham defender Philip Ifil on a three-month loan deal.

The arrival of the 19-year-old right-back, who has played for England at under-20 level, should allow Alan Dunne to return to midfield, where he is most comfortable.

Ifil is Lee’s second signing of the week following the capture of 34-year-old defender Ady Williams, who has also joined for three months from Coventry. He could make his debut at Wolves tonight.
