Fulham sign Frenchman Christanval on three-year deal
French international Philippe Christanval could make his Fulham debut this weekend after joining the British club on a free transfer yesterday.
The 27-year-old defender has agreed a three-year contract and will be available for the visit to St James's Park if the necessary paperwork is completed on time.
Christanval, who has six French caps, was released by Marseille during the summer and had undergone trials with Arsenal and Celtic that failed to turn into permanent moves.
