Longford put their cup woes behind them to blow Blues away at Flancare Park.

Dave Mooney flicked the ball over Pat Purcell before shooting past Packie Holden for the lead right on 45 minutes.

Sean Dillon added to that with a wonder strike from distance on 69 minutes.

Two minutes later John Martin added the third as second bottom Blues slumped to a sixth defeat in seven games.
