Luque seals Magpies move

Spanish striker Albert Luque has completed his move to Newcastle after passing a medical on Tyneside today.

The 27-year-old Deportivo La Coruna has put pen to paper on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £9.5m, and will go straight into the squad for Sunday’s Barclays Premiership clash with Manchester United – provided his international clearance comes through in time.
