Austrian in Boro squad

Emanuel Pogatetz is included in the Middlesbrough squad to face Charlton on Sunday for the first time since his summer arrival from Bayer Leverkusen.

Boro received confirmation this week a 24-week ban he received during his final game on loan to Spartak Moscow had been reduced to eight matches – with the Russian club playing that many since the suspension was imposed on June 29 - and has now been served.
