Blackburn boss Mark Hughes is without right-back Lucas Neill for tomorrow’s trip to Aston Villa as his side’s disciplinary problems begin to bite.

Neill is ruled out for one game after his midweek sending off against Tottenham, with the report from referee Dermot Gallagher clarifying the dismissal was for receiving two yellow cards.

Paul Dickov is also suspended and Craig Bellamy (thigh) sits out again.

Andy Todd is a doubt after picking up an ankle injury against Spurs so Aaron Mokoena stands by to return to the starting line-up. Shefki Kuqi is expected to shrug off a slight thigh strain.

Provisional squad: Friedel, Reid, Todd, Mokoena, Matteo, Emerton, Savage, Pedersen, Kuqi, Gresko, Tugay, Thompson, Flitcroft, Johnson, Gallagher, Gray, Enckelman.
