Raul hoping Owen stays

Real Madrid captain Raul is hopeful Michael Owen will spurn the chance of a Premiership retun and stay for a second season in Spain.

Newcastle have had a £15m (€22m) plus bid accepted for the England striker, but Owen has declared himself only interested in a loan move to St James’ Park.
