Sunderland defender Stephen Wright has been ruled out for three months after sustaining knee ligament damage.

Sunderland defender Stephen Wright has been ruled out for three months after sustaining knee ligament damage.

The right-back suffered his setback in training on Monday, and the injury is not related to the challenge on Wright which earned Charlton’s Darren Ambrose a red card on Saturday at the Stadium of Light.
