City up Malbranque offer

Manchester City have lodged an increased bid for Fulham midfielder Steed Malbranque.

The Blues have already had one £4m (€5.7m) offer for Malbranque turned down by the Cottagers this week but manager Stuart Pearce is confident the renewed approach, believed to be around £5m (€7.2m), will be accepted.
