Gordon Strachan made four changes as he attempted to win his first game as Celtic manager and stage a miraculous comeback in their Champions League qualifier tonight.

The under-pressure Scot watched his side suffer a humiliating 5-0 defeat at the hands of the Slovakian champions in Bratislava last week and then follow that up with a 4-4 draw at Fir Park with Motherwell seconds from taking the points.

Strachan took drastic action and made four courageous changes with Bobo Balde coming in for the injured Stanislav Varga, after being dropped at Fir Park, Artur Boruc replacing David Marshall to make his competitive debut in goal while Aiden McGeady and Shaun Maloney made way for Maciej Zurawski and Ross Wallace.
