Shamrock Rovers have been officially saved from liquidation after Justice Frank Clarke accepted proposals that will see the supporters trust, the 400 Club, and Australian-based investor Ray Wilson take control of the club.

Shamrock Rovers have been officially saved from liquidation after Justice Frank Clarke accepted proposals that will see the supporters trust, the 400 Club, and Australian-based investor Ray Wilson take control of the club.

With debts of €3m accrued, the club entered Examinership last April though liquidation remained a real danger unless a rescue package could be produced to satisfy both the creditors and courts.
