Portsmouth want fee for Fuller

Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric has warned Southampton they will not sign Ricardo Fuller “for free”.

Mandaric claims the Saints have enquired about the 25-year-old Jamaica international, who manager Harry Redknapp signed for the club when he was at Fratton Park.

“I think their first response was they don’t have any money and they don’t want to pay any money,” Mandaric told BBC Radio Solent.

“We want to recoup money for him and they’re not going to get him for free.”
