Cork and Shels take early leads

Eircom League leaders Cork City lead bottom club Shamrock Rovers 1-0 at Turner's Cross tonight while champions Shelbourne lead Bray Wanderers 2-0.

Joe Gamble put City ahead after just five minutes against Roddy Collins' Hoops.

Owen Heary gave Shelbourne a 7th minute lead and Glen Crowe doubled the lead on 11 minutes.
