Hedman leaves Celtic

Goalkeeper Magnus Hedman has left Celtic by mutual consent.

The Sweden international joined the Hoops in August 2002 from Coventry but the 32-year-old failed to make a major impact on the first team where Rob Douglas and David Marshall were favoured by former Celtic manager Martin O’Neill.
