O'Leary steps up Bellamy bid

Aston Villa manager David O’Leary is expected to step up his efforts to sign unwanted Newcastle striker Craig Bellamy in the next few days.

The Villa chief and his players returned to pre-season training at Bodymoor Heath this morning with Bellamy still very much at the forefront of O’Leary’s mind.
