Hardest decision of my life - Gerrard

Steven Gerrard today described his decision to quit Liverpool as "the hardest of his life".

Through his agent Struan Marshall, the Reds skipper has informed the club he wishes to leave after rejecting the £100,000-a-week (€150,000) contract offer put to him by chief executive Rick Parry last night.
