Report: Park wants to join United

Park Ji-Sung is reportedly ready to leave PSV Eindhoven and join Manchester United.

The South Korean midfielder had also been linked with a move to Chelsea.

His agent Kim Jeong-il told the Yonhap News Agency: “He has decided to join the English team (United).

“Today we will inform the president of our company, Lee Cheol-ho, who is now in the Netherlands, of Park’s intention.”

PSV press officer Pedro Salazar-Hewitt claimed the Dutch club were still waiting to hear from 24-year-old Park’s representatives.

“If they say that it’s up to them,” said Salazar-Hewitt. “PSV will not comment until we know things for sure ourselves. And that’s not now.”
