Bray Wanderers wary of resurgent Avondale
Bray Wanderers face a potential banana skin when they face Munster Senior League side Avondale United at Turner’s Cross.
Avondale were always one of the biggest sides in Cork and have recently recovered from a number of years in the doldrums under the guidance of Cork City legend John Caulfield.
But they will be without captain Noel Hartigan, who won a Cup medal with Cork in 1998, because he is no holidays while Irish Amateur international David Spratt is doubtful with a hamstring injury.
Bray Wanderers, meanwhile, have doubts over Stephen Fox (hamstring), Keith Long (ankle), Philip Keogh (knee) and Wes Charles (chest infection).
