Kerr calls for video evidence

Republic of Ireland boss Brian Kerr believes FIFA should follow the example set by the Football Association and start using video evidence for disciplinary issues.

Kerr was forced to travel to the Faroe Islands today without centre-back Andy O’Brien who is suspended for Wednesday’s World Cup qualifier following his unjust dismissal late on in Saturday’s contentious 2-2 Group Four draw against Israel at Lansdowne Road.
