Quinn's ready to grab Republic chance

Republic of Ireland midfielder Alan Quinn is refusing to let two years of friendly fire dampen his enthusiasm as he patiently continues to wait for a shot at the international big-time.

Quinn made his debgut in April 2003 as an 85th-minute substitute for Kevin Kilbane in a 1-0 win over Norway, since when a further five caps have followed, albeit none of them in a competitive fixture.
