Wolves turn down Black Cats bid for Miller

Wolves have confirmed an undisclosed seven-figure Sunderland offer for striker Kenny Miller has been turned down by the Molineux board.

Scotland frontman Miller, who is currently on the transfer list at his own request, scored 20 goals last season and the Black Cats, who are preparing to embark on a Premiership campaign following promotion recently, were prompted to lodge a seven-figure offer.
