Kewell and Baros to start for Reds

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez sprang two surprises with his Champions League final team to face AC Milan with Milan Baros preferred up front to Djibril Cisse and Harry Kewell given the opportunity to redeem himself as a support striker after a disappointing season.

It meant Dietmar Hamann was left out of a Liverpool team who were very much the underdogs again after a remarkable run to the final.
