Derry have it all to play for

Derry City can go top of the eircom Premier Division with a victory over St Patrick’s Athletic at the Brandywell.

With League leaders Shelbourne not in action until Monday because of their Setanta Cup commitments, Derry will hope to steal a march on their Dublin rivals and have a near full strength side for the clash with St Pats.

Only long term absentees, Barry Molloy and Kevin Deery, are out for the Candystripes with Killian Brennan and Stephen O’Flynn both pushing for spots in the starting XI after impressing as substitutes in last week’s victory over Bray Wanderers.

St Patrick’s Athletic will give a late fitness test to Paul Donnelly (Achilles) with David Bell standing by to deputise. Aiden O’Keeffe is also pushing for a place in the starting XI.
