United wait on Neville
Alex Ferguson is sweating on the fitness of Gary Neville for tomorrow's FA Cup final clash with Arsenal.
The Manchester United boss thought Neville was virtually certain to miss the Millennium Stadium encounter but the England defender trained yesterday and has a chance of playing in his fifth final.
Brother Phil stands by in case Neville does not make it, while Mikael Silvestre is likely to occupy the left-back berth if Gabriel Heinze loses his battle to overcome an ankle injury.
Ferguson's main selection dilemma surrounds Darren Fletcher, with Ryan Giggs or Cristiano Ronaldo likely to miss out if the young Scot is handed a midfield spot.
Provisional squad: Carroll, Howard, G Neville, P Neville, Ferdinand, Brown, Silvestre, Heinze, O'Shea, Fletcher, Fortune, Ronaldo, Kleberson, Keane, Scholes, Giggs, Miller, Van Nistelrooy, Smith, Rooney, Saha.
