Bohs to face AA Gent in Intertoto Cup

Bohemians will face AA Gent in the Intertoto Cup after they were confirmed as finishing sixth in the Belgian League.

A 3-0 defeat by Standard Liege ensured that, with one game to go, Gent cannot catch fifth place or be caught meaning they will face Bohemians at Dalymount Park on June 18 or 19 with the return leg one week later.

Formed in 1891, Gent have never been among the giants in Belgium though this is their fourth successive season in the Intertoto Cup. In 2002, they played St Patrick’s Athletic, winning on away goals.

Bohemians will face Belgian side AA Gent in the Intertoto Cup at Dalymount Park on June 18 or 19, with the return leg one week later.
