Coppell kops a load of Kevin Doyle

Reading boss Steve Coppell was an interested spectator at the RSC last night as Waterford played Cork City and is believed to have been particularly interested in City ace Kevin Doyle.

Doyle popped up with his fifth league goal of the season in front of Coppell but it was not enough to give City a win against 10-man Waterford last night, the match finishing 2-2.

According to the Evening Echo the ex-Manchester United and England star sat in the Main Stand.

Pat Dolan signed Doyle for Cork in the first place and Dolan’s twin brother Eamonn is on the coaching staff at Reading.
