Palace trio expected to recover

Crystal Palace manager Iain Dowie hopes to name an unchanged squad for tomorrow’s crunch Barclays Premiership relegation showdown with Southampton at Selhurst Park.

Palace have breathed new life into their survival bid with victories over Blackburn and Liverpool plus last week’s battling goalless draw with Newcastle at St James’ Park.

With victory vital over fellow strugglers Southampton, Dowie expects to have both Andrew Johnson and Greek midfielder Vassilis Lakis available after both suffered minor ankle knocks, while Tony Popovic hopes to be fit after a groin injury.
