United fans scrap boycott

The planned supporters’ boycott of Manchester United’s Premiership clash with West Brom tomorrow has been scrapped.

Organisers made the decision late last night after deciding they had not left enough time to drum up widespread enthusiasm for what was always going to be a risky strategy.
