Fans: We will exterminate Glazer bid

Doctor Who has pledged £10,000 (€14,700) in a bid to exterminate Malcolm Glazer’s attempted £800m (€1.2bn) takeover of Manchester United.

Actor Christopher Eccleston, who plays the legendary Timelord in the popular revamped BBC series, is the first famous name to respond to the pleas of Shareholders United (SU) for fans to invest in a specially created trust designed to see off Glazer’s efforts to buy the Old Trafford club.
