Vassell pushing for Villa recall

Darius Vassell is pushing for a recall to the Aston Villa starting line-up for the visit of Bolton.

The England striker’s ankle has improved in the past few days after he had only been fit enough to be on the substitutes’ bench for Wednesday’s goalless draw with Charlton.
