Bowyer admits violent conduct charge

Newcastle midfielder Lee Bowyer today admitted to his charge of violent conduct following his on-pitch bust-up with team-mate Kieron Dyer.

Bowyer and Dyer traded punches during the Magpies’ 3-0 home defeat by Aston Villa on April 2 and both players were sent off.
