Paul Dickov is back in contention for Blackburn against Southampton tomorrow after three weeks out with a groin problem.

Dickov is likely to replace Jon Stead, who is doubtful with a back strain, but otherwise manager Mark Hughes is expected to stick with the side which drew 0-0 against Manchester United.

Robbie Savage trained today after missing five matches with a groin injury but at best is only likely to be on the bench tomorrow.

Provisional squad: Friedel, Neill, Todd, Nelsen, Matteo, Mokoena, Johansson, Emerton, Thompson, Savage, Reid, Flitcroft, Tugay, Pedersen, Dickov, Stead, Gallagher, Johnson, Enckelman.
